A while ago I applied for an opening at George Fox--they were hiring a Director of Marketing. It took a looooong time, but they finally got back to me with a "thanks, but no thanks" letter. That was a few weeks ago. Today I applied for a position called Financial Aid Counselor and about six hours later I got a call for an interview. So, I go in on Thursday to talk to 'em. If I got the job, it would be somewhere in the range of a 30% pay cut, not to mention the fact that Amy is definitely going half-time this coming school year. All in all, it seems a little edgy, but I think we could pull it off. At least for a year.

Also, some crazy kid has been calling about the hooptie...he seems pretty fixated on it--leaves long messages with his whole life story on the answering machine. We were supposed to meet today, but he ditched me. Haven't rescheduled yet, but I'm sure he'll be calling soon...
